When you create a DressMatcher account, we collect your name, email address, birthday, and a securely hashed password. We also collect payment information through Stripe, our payment processor. DressMatcher never stores your full credit card number directly.
We collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics, including pages visited, time on site, device type, and general geographic location. This analytics data is never tied to your account.
Your search queries and preferences are stored with your account to personalize future searches.
If you upload a photo, it is analyzed to improve your matches, stored for up to 60 seconds, and then permanently deleted.
Your account information is used to manage your subscription and personalize your experience. Anonymous analytics data helps us understand how people use DressMatcher so we can improve the product. We don't sell, share, or rent any personal data to third parties.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe and governed by their privacy policy. DressMatcher does not store your full card number, expiry date, or CVC on our servers.

When you click to shop a dress, you're taken to the retailer's website, which is governed by their own privacy policy. We use affiliate links through networks like Awin, Rakuten, and CJ to earn a commission when you make a purchase. These networks may place cookies on the retailer's site, not on DressMatcher.
You can view, update, or delete your account information at any time from your account settings page. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. To request a full export of your data, email us at hello@dressmatcher.com.
